Since entering Florida in 2020, Conn’s HomePlus has opened six showrooms in\u00a0Florida. In 2021 Conn’s opened a 413,000-square-foot logistics distribution center in\u00a0Lakeland. Conn’s HomePlus currently employs approximately 200 associates in\u00a0Florida<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports <\/a>indicate that Conn\u2019s is considering this major financial step as it struggles with declining sales. The retailer, which boasts over 500 stores across 15 states, is also facing possible store closures, including a Baton Rouge location in Louisiana, according to The-Sun. Despite a recent attempt to boost its market position by acquiring W.S. Badcock in December 2023, the expected increase in sales hasn\u2019t materialized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
