He executed a quit claim deed that conveyed Tract F of Morgan Creek back to the developer, Landstar Lakeland. This was done without the knowledge of the residents, without a meeting and vote and without a joinder required in the covenants. This land had been owned by the HOA for 13 years and contained all the amenities of the community.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" src=\"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/LETTER-TO-THE-EDITOR-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10222\" style=\"width:480px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/LETTER-TO-THE-EDITOR-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/LETTER-TO-THE-EDITOR-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/LETTER-TO-THE-EDITOR-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/LETTER-TO-THE-EDITOR-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/LETTER-TO-THE-EDITOR-2048x1152.jpg 2048w\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Hall represented the developer at the Planning and Zoning meeting and the City Commissioners meeting in the developer&#8217;s attempt to build eight more homes on this land. The community defeated the developer who then leased back our pool and other amenities for over $50K per year.
