1. Chances are high this becomes Ernesto next week. Getting organized pretty quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n

2. Folks in the Caribbean islands need to keep a close eye on this one. Vacation plans to these islands next week are dicey as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Models still forecast a sizeable East Coast trough next week to help keep what should be Ernesto East of Florida. If the trough “misses” the storm, it would track more West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. The timing for any potential US impact would be the end of next week.<\/p>\n\n\n

5. Not much should change through the weekend. Just check in for my ” tropical thoughts” from time to time in case Mother Nature decides to throw us a curve ball. She’s been known to do so now and then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. After last week, totally understandable there’s a bit higher stress level. At least at this point, there’s solid model consensus. Let’s hope it stays that way. (I think it will) Remember, it’s a marathon. Waves are stacking up behind this one.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
