The Polk County Sheriff\u2019s Office is investigating a car burglary early on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Circle K on Memorial Blvd in Lakeland.<\/p>\n\n\n

The victim was sleeping in his parked car when an unknown suspect stole his wallet containing all of his debit cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspect then attempted to use the stolen cards at the same store between 3:00 and 6:00 a.m. The victim discovered the theft upon waking up and receiving fraud alerts from his bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
