The woman forgot her iPhone 13 at the checkout counter after paying for her items. Doss saw the phone and, instead of turning it in, took it for himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The victim quickly realized her mistake and contacted both the store and the Polk County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A deputy reviewed the store\u2019s security footage and spotted Doss still outside the store. When confronted, Doss offered conflicting stories about how he got the phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was subsequently arrested and charged with grand theft. This marks Doss\u2019 second arrest this year.
