A video shows him being repeatedly being hit in the face by Lakeland Police Detective Dillon Cornn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the time Lakeland Police Chief Sam Taylor issued a statement saying, \u201cWe have decided it\u2019s prudent to place Detective Dillon Cornn and Officers Anton Jefferson and Jason McCain on modified duty status, effective immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the video surfaced the State Attorney&nbsp;dropped all charges&nbsp;against Glover.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" data-dominant-color=\"aaaebb\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #aaaebb;\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"495\" height=\"372\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1110px) 100vw, 1110px\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot-60-2.png?resize=495%2C372&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-49302 not-transparent\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot-60-2.png?w=495&amp;ssl=1 495w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot-60-2.png?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, a new video shows Detective Cornn arresting Glover again. This time, Cornn\u2019s written report says Glover ran a stop sign and refused commands to get out of his car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Glover\u2019s uncle, who witnessed the recent arrest, says his nephew did nothing wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHe ran up in the yard, but I\u2019m saying he was in his seat belt though, and they yanking on him and I\u2019m telling him no, let him get out,\u201d said the man who identified himself as \u201cPop\u201d Glover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Val Beron with the Tampa Alliance against Racism and Political Oppression says Detective Cornn is stalking and targeting Glover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI think there is no reason Dillon Cornn shouldn\u2019t have already been under investigation, not just because of the Antwan Glover case, but also because of the Keyanna Garret case.
