In other cases, like the pound in Polk County, they simply continue business as usual, neglecting and killing animals despite readily available, cost-effective, non-lethal alternatives they refuse to implement.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"287\" height=\"160\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1110px) 100vw, 1110px\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Sheriff-Judd.jpg?resize=287%2C160&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15031\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sheriff Judd is taking credit for rescues and nonprofits doing his job for him.
