Tryp Air Charter, based out of Lakeland Linder International Airport, expanded its fleet and upgraded one of its planes due to an increase in demand for charter flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the second quarter of 2024, the company documented a 40% increase in private charter services according to a release. It expects a similar forecast for the third quarter and purchased a Pilatus PC-12 aircraft to keep up with the demand.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Pilatus PC-12 is a nine-passenger Swiss aircraft that has been in production since 1991. This purchase is the fourth addition of Pilatus PC-12s to Tryp\u2019s fleet. One of the other PC-12s was recently renovated to a 2025 design interior and got an exterior paint job as part of the process in meeting the new demand, the release states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe’ve seen a steady increase in clients choosing private charters for both business and personal travel,\u201d says Kyle Garren, VP of charter sales and logistics in the statement. \u201cOnce a client experiences the advantages of flying privately and the time savings, they become repeat customers, especially when they see the level of service we provide for every flight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tryp Air Charter was founded in 1973 and currently services 5,500 airports nationwide. In addition to the Lakeland airport, other central Florida locations include Plant City Airport and St. Pete\/Clearwater International Airport.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
