The new Kichi Taiyaki is slated to open in&nbsp;<strong>Lakeland&nbsp;<\/strong>, at&nbsp;<strong>3958 Florida Avenue South&nbsp;<\/strong>, according to recent&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thatssotampa.com\/kichi-taiyaki-tampa-bay\/\">coverage&nbsp;<\/a>by&nbsp;<strong>That\u2019s So Tampa&nbsp;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFamous for its TikTok-worthy desserts, Kichi Taiyaki has garnered attention for its fluffy souffl\u00e9 pancakes and delightful jiggly sweets shaped like capybara, kittens, and ducks,\u201d the coverage says. \u201cThese handcrafted desserts are almost too adorable to eat, but their irresistible flavors make them impossible to resist.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The menu features treats like \u201csouffl\u00e9 pancakes, taiyakis, soft-serve ice cream, bingsu, and boba tea,\u201d with pancake flavors that \u201crange from ube and Biscoff to brown sugar and cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e with special options like matcha white chocolate and a savory furikake flavor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Behind Kichi Taiyaki is owner&nbsp;<strong>Kim Nguyen&nbsp;<\/strong>. What Now was unable to reach the dessert shop owner (who is also a&nbsp;<strong>Mochinut&nbsp;<\/strong>franchisee) this week, but Nguyen said the following about the Kichi Naiyaki concept in an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/canvasrebel.com\/meet-kim-nguyen-2\/\">interview&nbsp;<\/a>with&nbsp;<strong>CanvasRebel&nbsp;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2018Kichi\u2019 is a Japanese word that translates to\u2026 \u2018fortunate,\u2019\u201d said Nguyen. \u201cWe feel so fortunate to able to serve our customer the best Japanese desserts in the Tampa Bay\u2026 At Kichi Taiyaki, we work to focus on quality and consistency in the products we provide to the customer. Our desserts are made fresh to order and are made from the highest quality ingredients.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No opening date has been announced for the Lakeland location.
