The Moccasins, who entered the day with a comfortable 58-point lead, tacked on another 358 points on Sunday to finish with 640.5 over the three-day event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final margin between Florida Southern and second-place Florida Tech (515.5) was 125 points. Rollins (403) and Saint Leo (149) finished a distant third and fourth, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HOW IT HAPPENED<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/bernotti_miguel_iriu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Miguel Bernotti<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/dyck_brandon_530q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brandon Dyck<\/a>&nbsp;each posted first-place showings for the Moccasins. Bernotti won the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 1:52.79, while Dyck was the winner in the in the 200-yard backstroke with a mark 1:51.34.<\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/agostinelli_matt_tgnd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Matt Agostinelli<\/a>&nbsp;(16:27.58) and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/ragsdale_holt_ywvm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Holt Ragsdale<\/a>&nbsp;(17:13.33) took second and fourth, respectively, in the 1,650-yard freestyle event.<\/li><li>Other top-five finishes for the Mocs included&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/lopez_matias_4qjn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Matias Lopez<\/a>&nbsp;in the 200-yard backstroke (5th &#8211; 1:55.46) and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/bernotti_carlos_pl6l\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carlos Bernotti<\/a>&nbsp;in the 100-yard freestyle (2nd &#8211; 45.75).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>INSIDE THE NUMBERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Dyck&#8217;s mark in the 200-yard backstroke is the top time of the season for the Moccasins.<\/li><li>Bernotti&#8217;s time in the 100-yard freestyle was a shade faster than his previous season-best of 46.06.<\/li><li>Florida Southern posted a total of 15 top-10 finishes on Sunday.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>UP NEXT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Florida Southern will close out the calendar year at the Spartan Invite in Clearwater from Dec. 16-19.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A total of six top-five finishes, including two first-place showings, helped Florida Southern College men&#8217;s swimming to a first-place finish at the third and final day of the Panther Invite&hellip;
