Update: It is with heavy and tearful hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Jeannie Weaver Lopez on Nov 14, 2024, at 11:58 a.m.<\/strong> Despite the incredible efforts of her medical team at LRH and TGH, the advanced fibrosis in her lungs and ongoing seizures in her brain made it clear that her body and mind would be unable to recover.<\/p>\n\n\n

Lakeland\u2019s dining scene is a close-knit one that supports each other when times get tough. Now, the community is banding together to help Jeannie Weaver-Lopez, owner of Revival <\/a>cocktail bar + The Peach House <\/a>restaurant, as she\u2019s in critical care at Tampa General Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n

Support for the Weaver-Lopez family<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

A GoFundMe named \u201cThe Pepper Project\u201d <\/a>was created this month to raise $80,000 for Pepper, the 2-year-old daughter of Weaver-Lopez and her husband Ryan. The campaign states, \u201cAny help you can provide will go to support Pepper as she\u2019s cared for by the people who love Jeannie and her family.\u201d It\u2019s already raised over $68,000.

Looking for more ways to help? As Nineteen61\u2019s Chef Marcos Fernandez posted on Facebook <\/a>, \u201cpatronize the heck\u201d out of Revival and The Peach House.
