Track his route with NORAD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re one day away from Christmas, and Santa has already left the North Pole to embark on his yearly trip around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"351\" height=\"138\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/NoradLogo.png?resize=351%2C138&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5297\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/NoradLogo.png?w=351&amp;ssl=1 351w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/NoradLogo.png?resize=300%2C118&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 351px) 100vw, 351px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Claus is scheduled to arrive in Australia around 8 a.m. Eastern time, then in Russia around 1 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And thanks to modern technology, children can follow his 25-hour journey in real-time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more than 60 years, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD)&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.noradsanta.org\/\">has been tracking Santa\u2019s whereabouts<\/a>&nbsp;on Christmas Eve with satellites and radar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NORAD said it will begin streaming the \u201cSanta Cams\u201d on its website starting at 2 a.m. EST, so children can watch Santa prepare for his flight and see a 3D visual depiction of his journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Live phone operators will be available to take calls at 6 a.m. EST to answer questions about Santa\u2019s whereabouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazon Alexa users also can ask for Santa\u2019s location just by saying \u201cAlexa, where\u2019s Santa?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can reach NORAD by dialing the toll-free number 1-877-Hi-NORAD (1-877-446-6723), or by sending an email to noradtrackssanta@outlook.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can also visit its mobile-friendly website (www.noradsanta.org) and social media channels.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re one day away from Christmas, and Santa has already left the North Pole to embark on his yearly trip around the world.
