Founded in 2001,\u00a0Riverside Seafood & Chicken\u00a0is a family-run business that has grown over the years to include two locations: one at\u00a01509 East Fletcher Ave, Suite 110, in\u00a0Tampa; and another in\u00a0Lakeland, a sister concept called\u00a0Riverside Express Seafood, located at\u00a0130 E Memorial Blvd. Now, Riverside is preparing to expand yet again with a new Seafood & Chicken location opening at\u00a02914 Florida Ave S, also in\u00a0Lakeland.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cThis one will be in a standalone building,\u201d co-owner Abdulhaleem Ibrahim told What Now on Wednesday. \u201cIt\u2019s casual dining, with a drive thru.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Popular orders from the Riverside menu include the Shrimp Platter (served with fries), a Wings & Shrimp combination, Shrimp Scampi, and Shrimp Pasta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat we\u2019re known for is all our food is cooked to order,\u201d said Ibrahim. \u201cWe have great food and we want to spread the word about the concept.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
