Once they had assembled the signs went up:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHands Off Our Future\u201d \u201cImpeach Trump Arrest Musk\u201d and others<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mari\u00a0Marks, the policy manager for the\u00a0Florida branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations<\/a>, was a featured speaker at the Saturday rally. She urged the crowd to fight for free speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen we say the First Amendment is under attack, we are not being dramatic. Most of the egregious action happening right now in the federal government and the state of Florida leads back to suppression of speech.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marks said people also must resist Israel\u2019s war in Gaza, which she called genocide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
