Hollis Wellness Center Pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png?resize=400%2C400&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2148\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png?w=400&amp;ssl=1 400w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png?resize=250%2C250&amp;ssl=1 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HOW IT HAPPENED<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The two teams went back and forth in the scoring as the Mocs took their first lead of the meet following a first-place finish from&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/bernotti_carlos_pl6l\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carlos Bernotti<\/a>&nbsp;in the 200-free (1:42.63).&nbsp;<\/li><li>Florida Southern hit the touchpad first in eight events &#8211; 1000-free, 200-free, 200-IM, 200-fly, 200-back, 500-free, 200-breast, and the 400-free relay.<\/li><li>Additionally, FSC placed first and second in the 200-fly and the 200-back and second and third in the 50-free. FSC was first and third in the final event, the 400-free relay.<\/li><li>Junior&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/bernotti_carlos_pl6l\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carlos Bernotti<\/a>&nbsp;won the 200-free in 1:42.63, then returned to place second in the 100-free in 47.03.<\/li><li>Junior&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/lopez_matias_4qjn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Matias Lopez<\/a>&nbsp;swam the fastest in three separate events &#8211; 200-IM (1:54.47), 200-back (1:50.76), and 200-breast (2:08.94). Three first-place finishes on the day was the most for the Mocs.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Freshman&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/prostran_luka_jms4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Luka Prostran<\/a>&nbsp;was a double-winner, as he took home the gold in the 1000-free (9:39.90).
