The Sharks were victorious 160-101 on Saturday in a meet held at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center Pool. The three seniors honored were&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/hamilton_talor_2jrp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Talor Hamilton<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/rodriguez_daniel_011c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Daniel Rodriguez<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/sawyer_jonathan_q4g8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jonathan Sawyer<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png?resize=400%2C400&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2148\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png?w=400&amp;ssl=1 400w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png?resize=250%2C250&amp;ssl=1 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HOW IT HAPPENED<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Mocs opened the meet with a third-place finish by their A relay team in the 200-medley (1:33.79).<\/li><li>Florida Southern hit the touchpad first in six events &#8211; 100-back, 100-breast, 50-free, 200-back, 200-breast, and the 200-IM.<\/li><li>Additionally, FSC placed second in the 200-free, 200-fly, 100-free, and the 500-free. In addition to second place in the 100-free they also placed third.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Junior&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/bernotti_carlos_pl6l\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carlos Bernotti<\/a>&nbsp;was second in the 200-free in 1:41.68, then returned to place second in the 100-free in 46.43. Teammate&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/saslo_jj_x2ue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JJ Saslo<\/a>&nbsp;was right behind him in third place (46.92).&nbsp;<\/li><li>Junior&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/lopez_matias_4qjn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Matias Lopez<\/a>&nbsp;led the team as he swam the fastest in three separate events &#8211; 100-breast (57.97), 200-breast (2:07.21), and 200-IM (1:52.11).&nbsp;<\/li><li>Junior&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/dyck_brandon_530q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brandon Dyck<\/a>&nbsp;also claimed multiple first-place finishes as he was fastest in the 100-back (51.19) and the 200-back (1:51.57).&nbsp;<\/li><li>Freshman&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/prostran_luka_jms4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Luka Prostran<\/a>&nbsp;was third in the 1000-free (9:43.43) and returned to the pool later to place second in the 500-free (4:43.86).<\/li><li>Junior&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mswim\/2019-20\/bios\/bernotti_miguel_iriu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Miguel Bernotti<\/a>&nbsp;was second in the 200-fly with a time of 1:52.54.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Hamilton&nbsp;finished second (21.22) in the 50-free.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The home squad used a first (A-3:06.30) and third-place (B-3:15.32) finish in the 400-free relay to seal the victory over Emory.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>UP NEXT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Florida Southern will close out the regular season with a dual meet at Indian River State College (Jan. 24) before heading to Clearwater, Fla. for the 2020 SSC Championship meet (Feb. 13-16).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 16th-ranked Florida Southern College men&#8217;s swimming team took on the sixth-ranked Sharks of Nova Southeastern on a day in which it honored its three seniors in a pre-meet ceremony.&hellip;
