The Florida Tropics scored six\nunanswered goals in the second half to pull away from the Orlando SeaWolves,\n10-3, to remain in first place in the Major Arena Soccer League’s Eastern\nConference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ricardo\nCarvalho, who entered the weekend third in points in the MASL, had two goals\nand two assists in leading a multi-player attack. Drew Ruggles and Guilherme\n(two goals and one assist each) and Gordy Gurson (goal and two assists) all had\nthree-point nights, while Zach Reget had his third straight two-goal game. Matt\nClare added a goal and an assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nTropics improved to 8-1 on the year and got additional good news Sunday when\nthe St. Louis Ambush surprised the Milwaukee Wave in overtime to put the\nTropics up by 1 \u00bd game over both the Wave and Utica City FC in the East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orlando, which got goals from Jeff Michaud, Luiz Mota, and Rapha Tobias, falls to 1-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brett\nPetricek lowered his goals-against average in picking up his fourth win. He was\nthird in the league in GAA coming into the matinee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
