An Auburndale man with a prior arrest for indecent exposure is back in custody, facing a litany of charges including burglary, voyeurism, and stalking, following an investigation by the Polk County Sheriff\u2019s Office (PCSO).<\/p>\n\n\n

Tyler Mountain, 28, was arrested on Wednesday, June 11th, after detectives concluded an investigation into complaints of suspicious behavior dating back to late April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the PCSO, residents of the mobile home park where Mountain resides reported that he appeared to be surreptitiously recording or photographing people inside their homes using his cell phone. The investigation, which began on April 30th, uncovered multiple incidents of alleged illicit activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detectives determined that Mountain allegedly entered the curtilage of one victim\u2019s residence and peeped inside with a cell phone on two separate occasions. He is also accused of stepping onto a second victim\u2019s landing outside her residence twice for the purpose of voyeurism. All four known incidents reportedly occurred during overnight hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the investigation, Tyler Mountain now faces eight charges: two counts of Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling, two counts of Voyeurism, two counts of Stalking, and two counts of Loitering & Prowling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is NOT Mountain\u2019s first brush with the law. In November 2023, the Polk County Sheriff\u2019s Office arrested him for exposing himself to two different women in two separate incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mountain is currently being held at the Polk County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities encourage anyone with additional information to contact the Polk County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
