An Atlanta roofing firm has acquired Springer-Peterson Roofing & Sheet Metal, a family-run Lakeland business founded in 1981.<\/p>\n\n\n

Roofing Corp. of America is the new owner of Springer-Peterson, according to a statement. Financial terms of the deal weren\u2019t disclosed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roofing Corp. of America has been growing of late in Florida. That includes\u00a0buying Fort Myers-based Crowther Roofing & Cooling in June 2024, when the firm was generating $176.43 million a year. RCA also owns Hamilton Roofing and Dynamic National in Florida, and the Springer-Peterson transaction is its 15th overall purchase since it was founded in 2020. \u201cS-P\u2019s central Florida market presence fits beautifully within RCA\u2019s already leading position across the state,\u201d says Roofing Corp of America CEO Randy Korach in the statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Springer-Peterson will operate as a stand-alone entity within Roofing Corp of America, the release states, \u201cpartnering closely with our Crowther Roofing and our other businesses across Florida.\u201d Crowther Roofing & Cooling CEO Lee Crowther, who is also the Florida Regional President for RCA, will work with Springer-Peterson Board Chairman Rob Springer, whose father, Don Springer, founded the business in 1981 with Brooke Peterson. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
