Minutes before chaos erupted at Utah Valley University, Charlie Kirk posted a triumphant message on X:<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cWE. ARE. SO. BACK. Utah Valley University is FIRED UP and READY for the first stop back on the American Comeback Tour.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was 2:23 p.m. EDT. The crowd was energized, the conservative movement was on display\u2014and then violence broke the celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, quickly responded:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am tracking the situation at Utah Valley University closely. Please join me in praying for Charlie Kirk and the students gathered there.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pattern Is Clear<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every American should be asking the same question: Why does the left so often resort to violence when faced with ideas they don\u2019t like?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We don\u2019t see conservatives storming liberal events, guns drawn. We don\u2019t see Republican activists silencing progressive commentators. Conservatives argue. We debate. We persuade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But time and again, when the left runs out of logic, they reach for fists\u2014or worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking As a Podcaster<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a political podcaster myself, this hits hard. My work is built on words\u2014opinion, commentary, debate. Yet it\u2019s unsettling to realize that my voice\u2014or any conservative voice\u2014could be silenced at any moment by a mental cripple who mistakes violence for discourse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Is About Free Speech<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn\u2019t just about Charlie Kirk. This isn\u2019t just about Utah Valley University. This is about America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can we still disagree without violence? Or will mobs decide which opinions are safe to speak?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until the left reins in its radical fringe, we all know the answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
