The Barney Barnett\nSchool of Business and Free Enterprise at Florida Southern College is pleased\nto announce that the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools\nof Business (AACSB) has extended the accreditation of the College\u2019s business\ndegree programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Barnett School\nreceived its initial AACSB business accreditation in 2013 and has a long\nhistory of achievement, most recently having been recognized in The Princeton\nReview\u2019s prestigious list of Best Business Schools in 2018 and ranking as one of the best\nUndergraduate Business Schools of 2018 by Poets and Quants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe AACSB renewal of\naccreditation is a reflection of continuous improvements being made in the\nBarnett School, in compliance with AACSB quality standards,\u201d said Dr. James\nFenton, Dean of the Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise. \u201cThe\nvarious constituents within the Barnett School, including the faculty, the staff, our\nstudents, and our alumni, all played a part in the renewal of our\naccreditation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accreditation by AACSB\nInternational is a mark of excellence in business education, placing Florida\nSouthern\u2019s program among the most respected university-level business school\nprograms in the world and serving as the benchmark of quality for students,\nparents, recruiters, and employers. As an AACSB-accredited school, the\nBarnett School is recognized for having passed the organization\u2019s rigorous\nstandards for quality in its undergraduate and master\u2019s degree programs, an\nhonor earned by only 5 percent of business schools worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
