Jenkins Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Named after the company\u2019s founder, the George W. Jenkins Award is the company\u2019s most prestigious award. It is presented to managers who exemplify leadership, perpetuate the Publix culture and demonstrate their commitment to Jenkins\u2019 vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGeorge Jenkins believed in helping associates prepare for opportunity and creating an environment for them to be successful,\u201d said Publix CEO Kevin Murphy. \u201cThe honorees exemplify these ideals and deserve recognition for their continued dedication to sustaining Publix\u2019s legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2025 recipients are<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Atlanta Division: Store Manager Stephanie Bennett, #1867, Atlanta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charlotte Division: Store Manager Christy Pfuntner, #1081, Mount Pleasant, S.C.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jacksonville Division: Store Manager Ronnie Mills, #1243, Ponte Vedra, Fla.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lakeland Division: District Manager Milan Kordic, previously store manager at #640, St. Petersburg, Fla.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Miami Division: Store Manager Frank Roa, #658, Miami, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support: Director of Transportation and Maintenance James Sadler.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>President\u2019s Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The President\u2019s Award honors managers who actively perpetuate a culture of inclusion, foster a sense of belonging, and champion the development and advancement of all associates. The recipients are also role models to others by demonstrating exemplary leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThese associates are examples of what it means to be an engaged leader,\u201d said Publix President John Goff. \u201cThey\u2019re creating an environment of inclusion where associates feel valued and respected, while also helping prepare them for the opportunities ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2025 recipients are<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Atlanta Division: District Manager Jeff Jeup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charlotte Division: District Manager Mike Jelenc<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jacksonville Division: District Manager Kelly Wilson<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lakeland Division: District Manager Steve Micheli<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Miami Division: District Manager Charlie Uz and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support: Director of Manufacturing Operations Brandon Haley.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Publix is proud to recognize 12 outstanding associates with the George W.
