The 48-year-old woman driving the Kia was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After striking the Kia, the Nissan hit a Dodge Ram, driven by a 53-year-old Lakeland man, who was not injured.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" data-dominant-color=\"42354e\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #42354e;\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"512\" height=\"288\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1110px) 100vw, 1110px\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/kathleen-crash.webp?resize=512%2C288&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-59486 not-transparent\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/kathleen-crash.webp?w=512&amp;ssl=1 512w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/kathleen-crash.webp?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, the Nissan continued forward and struck an Audi SUV head-on, the sheriff\u2019s office said. Driving the Audi was the 25-year-old son of the Dodge Ram driver, and the passenger was his 79-year-old grandmother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The head-on collision between the Nissan and the Audi killed the driver of the Nissan, a 23-year-old Fort Meade woman, and the 79-year-old grandmother of the Audi driver.
