A canine unit was dispatched to thoroughly search the\nbuilding before it is reopened to patrons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The suspect has been arrested and\nis in police custody. Residents are being asked to avoid the area as of 10 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The LPD bomb squad is at the library with a robot to search for any potential bomb in the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a thorough search of the facility by a canine unit and bomb squad using a robot, Lakeland Public Library re-opened to the public at approximately 11:10 a.m. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A bomb threat has caused police officers to evacuate Lakeland Public Library on Lake Morton this Thursday morning.
