With this in mind, our 2026 theme will tie into America\u2019s 250th Anniversary celebration. With this, we want to attract unique and rare show vehicles with ties to America. One of the goals is to bring multiple prototypes and more. The idea of highlighting special cars and race cars combining efforts from American and overseas manufacturing, will also be featured. We will of course, still highlight cars from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also plan to expand our events this year. The first as hosts for the 1000 Miglia Experience Rally and welcoming them around beautiful Lake Mirror on Sunday, Feb 22nd, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are some of the planned events being added in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The 1000 Miglia Experience Rally Sunday, Feb 22nd- 70-80 high-end cars will roll into Lakeland as the second leg of their trip. They will arrive at Lake Mirror in the morning from Innisbrook (north of Tampa). We will have a FREE car show around Lake Mirror to greet them with a DJ and some of our top Lake Mirror Classic sponsors on site as well.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lake Mirror Classic Volunteers receive special priority, and you are all invited to show your show cars and collector cars &#8220;around the lake\u201d as we greet the rally to town.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There will be a timing \u201cstamp stop\u201d for the rally participants. They will have a catered lunch for rally participants in the Magnolia Building, and also participate in a precision, timed event in the parking lot near the Peggy Brown Building. From Lakeland. After these events, they will head to Sebring for a parade lap on the race track.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Car Show will include all the grandeur of Lake Mirror and to welcome the rally as we provide the local community with a unique opportunity to view show cars and this event provides international exposure for Lakeland.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help Lakeland gain international exposure with the 1000 Miglia Experience Rally in February!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you would like to volunteer this event or for our event in October, use this link\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lakemirrorclassic.regfox.com\/lmc-vols\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/lakemirrorclassic.regfox.com\/lmc-vols<\/a>\u00a0and let us know. For those of you that have volunteered before, and plan on joining us again this year, use the same link so we know you&#8217;re going to be joining us once again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Most of all, we want you to have fun!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are planning to expand the events associated with the Lake Mirror Classic during the traditional third week of October, and even earlier in the month of October.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These include events like a Thursday \u201cWorship Night\u201d at the RP Funding Center, a car show (cruise-in) &#8211; maybe at Bonnet Springs Park just outside downtown Lakeland.
