<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nAdrian Sanchez, 22, worked as a CT technician at Advent Health Sebring at the time of his arrest, PCSO said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An investigation into his online activity was launched when the sheriff\u2019s office received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that connected Sanchez to a Kik account that was uploading and sending child pornography videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Investigators discovered six videos and images of child abuse material that were uploaded and distributed from an IP address in Fort Meade. A search warrant was executed at the property, which led to the discovery of 31 files containing pornographic material of some kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seventeen of the files contained child pornography depicting children between the ages of 4 and 12 being sexually battered by adult men, PCSO said. Investigators were unable to determine the ages of the people shown in the remaining files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The sheriff\u2019s office said that, in addition to possessing the files, Sanchez shared them with other Kik users at least 16 times and was attempting to arrange trades for additional child abuse material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When detectives confronted Sanchez at his home, where he lived with his family, he admitted to the crimes, PCSO said. He was taken into custody on Friday, Jan. 16, and booked into the Polk County Jail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sanchez has been charged with 16 counts of promoting sexual performance of a child and possession of child pornography, a second-degree felony. He is being held on a $400,000 bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Due to the fact that minor children resided in the home with Sanchez, the Department of Children and Families was notified about the investigation. PCSO said that there is no evidence Sanchez had any inappropriate physical contact with a child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
