He is accused of ramming his car into Taylor\u2019s vehicle back on June 14 in the parking lot of the Bartow courthouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just hours after his arrest,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfla.com\/news\/new-evidence-in-case-of-florida-mom-arrested-for-taking-alleged-abusers-guns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">court audio recordings reveal Taylor pleaded with a judge<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI am fearful that my husband is going to kill me,\u201d she said. \u201cHe has threatened me multiple times. And it has been a very, very long journey for me to be heard and believed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The judge made it clear Mr. Irby could not have weapons. So Taylor says she broke into his home, took his guns and brought them to Lakeland police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taylor was arrested for theft and armed burglary. Her arrest quickly drew national attention and stirred controversy. Some question whether police made the right call arresting her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After her arrest, State Attorney Haas had 21 days to make a decision on whether or not to pursue the charges against Taylor.
