Southeastern University will welcome Carla Harris, vice chairman at Morgan Stanley, back to campus for a leadership luncheon on Friday, March 13. The luncheon will take place from 12 to 1:30 p.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Harris spoke at last year\u2019s SEU Forum. In addition to being a vice chairman, Harris is also a managing director and senior client advisor at Morgan Stanley. She formerly headed the Emerging Manager Platform, the equity capital market\u2019s effort for the consumer and retail industries, and was responsible for Equity Private Placements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In her 30-year career, Harris has had extensive industry experiences in the technology, media, retail, telecommunications, transportation, industrial, and healthcare sectors. In August 2013, Harris was appointed by President Barack Obama to chair the National Women\u2019s Business Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
