Florida is one of the key states selected to move these prototypes out of the “experimental lab” phase and into real-world skies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s Happening in Florida?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will lead a statewide effort to test these aircraft in three distinct phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Cargo & Logistics:<\/strong> Starting with medical supplies and specialized freight.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Emergency Response:<\/strong> Testing how these vehicles can assist in medical emergencies and disaster relief.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Passenger Services:<\/strong> Moving toward actual air taxi commutes for the public.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Several top-tier firms have been authorized to fly their prototypes in the state as part of this program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
