A Florida man accused of stealing two packs of cigarettes from a convenience store while \u201cstoned to the gills with mushrooms\u201d allegedly told deputies that \u201che was God\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

The incident involved 18-year-old Tyler Voisard<\/strong> of Davenport, who was arrested on March 4, 2026\u2014which happened to be his 18th birthday<\/strong>. According to Sheriff Grady Judd, the situation began at a 7-Eleven where Voisard allegedly stole two packs of cigarettes (valued at $19.62).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When deputies arrived, things took a surreal turn. Sheriff Judd reported that Voisard was “stoned to the gills on mushrooms” and told the responding deputies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I\u2019m God, and I\u2019m leaving here in two seconds.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He then attempted to run away, but as Judd noted in his typical fashion, “God didn’t run from anybody, but if you\u2019re messed up on mushrooms, I can see why you would think you were God.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
