While the scales are still a common sight, several factors are contributing to their gradual disappearance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The Production “Dead End”<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The primary reason for the decline is logistical. The manufacturer, Mettler Toledo, ceased production<\/strong> of these specific manual scales in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
