Mi Escuela Montessori is preparing for a major transition as it moves toward its new campus in Bartow. Here is the latest on the relocation and expansion plans:<\/p>\n\n\n

New Location & Timeline<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Address:<\/strong> The new campus is located at 1702 N. Wilson Ave.<\/strong> within the Stuart Crossing development in Bartow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Opening Window:<\/strong> Construction is currently underway. While a specific opening date hasn’t been finalized, the school expects to begin moving operations later this year, to have everything fully transitioned to the Bartow campus by January 2027<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Campus Features<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The 60,000-square-foot facility is designed to support a “whole child” approach and will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • An art studio<\/strong> equipped with a kiln.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A dance space<\/strong> and a music studio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Extensive teaching gardens<\/strong> and outdoor learning environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Expansion & Access<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      • Student Capacity:<\/strong> The move will allow the school to nearly double its enrollment, growing from its current 376 students to approximately 700<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Transportation:<\/strong> To help families with the shift to Bartow, the school is adding a second bus<\/strong> and expanding its transportation routes across Polk County.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Funding:<\/strong> In April 2026, the school was awarded a $75,000 capital grant<\/strong> from the GiveWell Community Foundation to support the development of this new early childhood access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
