NBA G League has Suspended 2019-20 Season<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In response to the coronavirus pandemic and following the NBA\u2019s announcement tonight that it is suspending gameplay, the NBA G League has also suspended the 2019-20 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Follow up 7:25 am 3\/12\/2020<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Orlando Magic CEO and Lakeland Magic Managing Partner Alex Martins has released the following statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAs we\u2019ve said from the beginning, the health and safety of our fans, employees, players and partners is our top priority and thus we fully support the NBA\u2019s decision to postpone games.&nbsp; We will continue to stay in contact with the league, and local, state and federal health experts as we closely monitor this public health crisis. During this period of increased focus on public health due to COVID-19, we ask that our fans continue to practice healthy habits as outlined by the CDC.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Magic also announced that tickets already purchased for a postponed game will be honored when the game is rescheduled. If games are not played or played in an empty-arena, fans will have the option to receive a credit for a future game or a refund.
