MIDFLORIDA Auto Show\u2019s Chairman, David Hand, Announced today\nthe appointment of Mel Mann as the new Chief Judge of the Midflorida Auto Show\nand Lake Mirror Conocurs. Mann replaced Paul Dimbath, who has held this\nposition since the inception of the event. Hand comments, \u201cPaul Dimbath, an\nAACA accredited judge and car collector and Lakeland resident, has masterfully\nguided our team of distinguished judges through the judging process for years\nand will remain as, Judge Emeritus\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mel Mann, a Miami resident, has participated in the concours\nfor many years and in recent years is the first registrant to have his car\naccepted in the show. He is a past president, VP and treasurer of the Antique\nAutomobile Club of America – South Florida Region (\u201cAACA\u201d), co-chairing over 75\ncar shows in Miami, including 2 national meets. For the past three decades, Mel\nhas been an avid collector of American 50\u2019s chrome and 60\u2019s muscle cars, and\nall eras of Corvettes. His cars have been awarded NCRS \u201cTop Flight\u201d,\nBloomington \u201cGold\u201d, AACA national \u201cSenior\u201d and Best of Show at Lake Mirror\nConcours and Ocean Reef Vintage Weekend. He\u2019s the chairman of the Memory Lane\nand Havana Classics exhibit at the Miami International Auto\nShow,  and the Art Deco Weekend Car Festivals. Mann has served as a\ndistinguished judge at many concours events in the USA and Canada.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
