Polk Pride is heading into its 11th edition<\/strong> in June 2026, remaining resilient through shifting cultural climates. Since launching in 2015, the annual event series has served as a central hub for visibility, education, and community across Polk County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s theme\u2014“Proud Through the Storm”<\/strong>\u2014vividly speaks to that exact spirit of perseverance in the face of national and state-level social headwinds.<\/p>\n\n\n

Polk Pride 2026 Event Lineup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The festivities culminate in mid-June with a diverse schedule aimed at fostering connection, family-friendly celebration, and creative expression:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Pride for Youth:<\/strong> A dedicated, chaperoned safe space designed specifically for LGBTQ+ youth ages 11 to 17 to connect and celebrate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Pride in Faith:<\/strong> An open panel event featuring local faith leaders and guest speakers sharing inclusive theological perspectives and experiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Pride in the Park (The Main Event):<\/strong> Taking place on Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Munn Park<\/strong> in downtown Lakeland.
