Incident Description<\/strong>
Approximately 8,000 gallons of raw wastewater discharged on the concrete pad and 10 feet outside the station?s fenced area. Further investigation determined that the main breaker tripped causing the station to lose power. It was also determined that one of the pumps was clogged with rags. The station?s wet well was pumped down and the pump was pulled to be cleaned out. The breaker was reset and power was restored. Approximately 500 gallons was recovered and properly disposed of. The affected area was also treated with lime for disinfection. Clean-up action was completed at 8:25 PM on April 8, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
