Everyone knows Grady Judd oversees an animal control system that, based on publicly available data, has reported the 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 for more than 𝟳 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀.

In 2024:

Those three counties together:

So the question is simple:

How does one shelter, serving fewer than 850,000 people and taking in ~14,000 animals, report 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 than three counties serving 5.5 million people and taking in 48,665 animals?

If this concerns you, share it. Keep the conversation going.
