The City of Lakeland government is asking for input from its\nresidents about the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The city is evaluating its comprehensive plan to look\nforward and develop a strategy for growth over the next 10 years with\n“Look Forward Lakeland!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the city, the purpose of the Lakeland\nComprehensive Plan is to establish City goals, objectives and policies that\nwill be effective at managing growth and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials want to identify and understand priorities and\nconcerns of Lakeland residents and city leaders to develop a vision for the\nfuture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An online survey<\/a> is available here for you to make your voice\nheard. You can take the survey by clicking\nhere<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, several public meetings are being held where\ncitizens can learn about Lakeland’s comprehensive plan and how it relates to\nyour quality of life. Staff will be available to answer questions and\ntechnology will be provided for those who wish to take the survey. A list of\nthe meeting dates and times are below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
