Lakeland, FL (August 4, 2026) | The City of Lakeland Water Utilities Department will begin overnight sewer rehabilitation work near the intersection of Wabash Avenue and George Jenkins Boulevard on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To safely complete the work, Wabash Avenue will be closed on the north side of the George Jenkins Boulevard intersection from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Lane closures and detour signage will be in place throughout the work zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
