Citrus Connection is announcing the start of the Jet Squeeze, a pilot project through a grant with Uber, offering $5 Uber transit vouchers to assist travelers using Uber to get to and from Lakeland Linder International Airport within a specific geographic area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With an October 5 launch, the Jet Squeeze comes just in time for the busy holiday travel season for travelers using Avelo Air to and from Lakeland Linder International. The matching Uber Grant Vouchers give Citrus Connection the ability to partially subsidize Uber rides for customers ready to head to the airport for holiday visits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited to partner with Uber to help getting people to our international airport more affordable,\u201d said Citrus Connection CEO Tom Phillips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travelers receive an Uber voucher from Citrus Connection that is added to their Uber account. Passengers can then use the voucher to pay for eligible services. Typically, the voucher will cover a portion of the cost of the trip. If the cost exceeds the voucher\u2019s value, the difference is charged to your default payment method on the Uber app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Riders are eligible for four Uber Vouchers per month. Citrus Connection encourages riders with smartphones to download the Uber app for the most seamless Uber experience.
