County Line Road<\/strong> in Plant City.<sup><\/sup> This operational transition ends the third-party logistics role previously held by Lakeland-based <strong>Saddle Creek Logistics Services<\/strong>, placing 178 jobs in transition.<sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Details of the Transition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Notice &amp; Timeline:<\/strong> Saddle Creek issued a federally required Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice on <strong>August 14, 2026<\/strong>, indicating that employment reductions and the shift in operations were scheduled for <strong>October 15, 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Affected Positions:<\/strong> A total of <strong>178 positions<\/strong> at the County Line Road warehouse are affected. The largest impacted group comprises <strong>128 forklift operators<\/strong>, alongside supervisory and warehouse staff.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nature of the Change:<\/strong> Representatives from Saddle Creek clarified that the WARN filing was a regulatory requirement because employment under Saddle Creek was ending\u2014not because the facility itself is closing or experiencing a slump in overall business volume.
