The truck began sliding on the roadway before hitting a curb and striking a utility pole. The impact caused the truck to flip on its roof, landing in the roadway of West 2nd Street.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inside the vehicle were three teenagers; the driver age 16, and two passengers, one age 16, and the other age 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/alexandra-saldana-hixson-tn-obituary.jpg?resize=146%2C240&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8647\" width=\"146\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/alexandra-saldana-hixson-tn-obituary.jpg?w=394&amp;ssl=1 394w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/alexandra-saldana-hixson-tn-obituary.jpg?resize=182%2C300&amp;ssl=1 182w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 146px) 100vw, 146px\" \/><figcaption>Alexandra Christina Saldana<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lakeland Police Department Patrol Unit, Polk County Fire Rescue, and the Lakeland Fire Department all arrived on the scene and began to provide life-saving measures. The male driver and the front-seat female passenger, who were both wearing seatbelts, sustained minor injuries. The female rear passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was unresponsive at the scene and sustained serious injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All occupants were transported to Lakeland Regional Health for treatment.
