A 69-year-old Mulberry woman died following a three-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck in Bradley Junction on Friday night, October 30, 2026.<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n

Key Details of the Crash<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Time & Location:<\/strong> Emergency crews were dispatched around 8:40 p.m. to State Road 37 near Main Avenue. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sequence of Events:<\/strong> Preliminary reports from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office indicate that the victim was driving a silver 2018 Chrysler 300 northbound on SR 37. For unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed the center line and struck the side wheels of a southbound 2007 Kenworth semi-truck. The Chrysler 300 then went out of control and collided head-on with a southbound black 2013 Chrysler 200. <\/li>\n\n\n\n

    • The 69-year-old Mulberry woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported by Polk County Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where she passed away shortly after arrival. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The driver of the Chrysler 200, a 25-year-old man from Northborough, Massachusetts, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Daily Ridge<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The semi-truck driver, a 35-year-old man from Wimauma, was evaluated and treated at the scene. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
