\u201cThrough a 4-week structured program known as LSVT BIG training, patients can retrain their muscles to counteract the effects of Parkinson\u2019s,\u201d says Watson Clinic physical therapist Neelam Kansara, PT, DPT<\/strong>, who is certified in LSVT BIG therapy alongside licensed physical therapy assistants Kimberly Melaragni, LPTA <\/strong>and Nadia Valdez, LPTA<\/strong>. \u201cWe can assist in crafting a plan that works for each patient\u2019s individual needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The therapy is helpful during all stages of Parkinson\u2019s and is highly effective in improving gross motor skills.
