But this Friday, all that remains in the lot is an empty freezer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bennett sold seafood platters out of her home for years, but finally earned enough last summer to buy a food truck worth more than $40,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She found her business thriving, even during the pandemic, but Thursday, she showed up to an empty lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After overcoming the initial shock, she remembered the truck had a tracking device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The truck was in Lakeland, and Bennett said she realized a part of her was taken along with the truck&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMy whole soul was taken from me like my name was over the truck, a picture of me was all over the truck, I literally had 12 pictures of me on there,\u201d said Bennett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/ccs-1.png?resize=378%2C180&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9354\" width=\"378\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/ccs-1.png?w=487&amp;ssl=1 487w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/ccs-1.png?resize=300%2C143&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 378px) 100vw, 378px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bennett said that Lakeland police sent her photos showing black spray paint covering nearly everything on the trailer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Lakeland Police spokesperson confirmed the trailer had been found Friday morning, parked on a boarding house property. Police are still investigating possible suspects and haven\u2019t made any arrests, LPD confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite finding the trailer, it\u2019s still a devastating setback for Bennett, who said her business was the only source of income for her household, which includes five kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bennett&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/gf.me\/u\/znwgnz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">created a GoFundMe page<\/a>&nbsp;and promises to rebuild her dream, hoping to reopen the food truck in the next month or so.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Tallahassee woman says her food truck was stolen in broad daylight Wednesday.
