I want to let you know about a recent scam affecting our area. This is a scam! The scammer will then tell you not to tell anyone what you are doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do not listen to them. If this happens call a family member or the Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do not give anyone you do not know your money. No one will ever call you wanting you to pay for anything with cash or gift cards, ever! If you get a call like this hang up the phone and block the number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Call the Polk County Sheriff\u2019s Office at 863-298-6200 with any questions.
