Polk State College and Florida Polytechnic University signed an expanded articulation agreement creating the Eagle to Phoenix Pathway program.
Polk State President Anastasios Kamoutsas and Florida Poly President Devin Stephenson signed the agreement at Florida Poly’s Barnett Applied Research Center.
Key Program Highlights
- Expanded Degree Access: While the original 2019 agreement provided a transfer pathway for only a single degree (Business Analytics), this new program expands guaranteed transfer access to 10 targeted STEM bachelor’s degree programs.
- Seamless Transfer: Students can complete their Associate in Arts (AA) degree and required prerequisites at Polk State before seamlessly transferring into Florida Poly to finish their four-year degree.
- Guaranteed Program Acceptance: Building on Florida’s statewide 2+2 articulation system, the agreement guarantees admission into specific, high-demand Florida Poly majors rather than general university admission.
