Two Perkins Restaurant & Bakery locations in Winter Haven and Davenport were shuttered in recent weeks amid a corporate bankruptcy filing to facilitate the sale of the parent company.
Perkins & Marie Callender’s Inc. closed a total of 29 restaurants nationwide after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Aug. 5.
The Perkins at 150 E. Van Fleet Dr. in Bartow remains open and is expected to continue operating as usual while the company seeks a buyer.
