Facing an uphill battle with funding mandated items by the Florida Legislature. The Polk School Board members are looking at all options they have to increase revenues.
According to a Ledger report: At the workshop Tuesday, the board discussed the timing of a referendum on increasing property taxes.
In addition, Polk County Commissioners are considering a phased growth increase in impact fees on new construction over the next few years.
