The #LFD Technical Rescue Team (TRT-421) conducted Confined Space Training this month at the City of Lakeland Mcintosh Power Plant. The scenario training allowed TRT-421 members to simulate confined space rescues within the power plant.
The training at Lakeland Electric serves multiple purposes for both departments. Having the opportunity to train at their facility allows our team to become more familiar with the property and the confined space on site. In addition, it allows the members of TRT-421 and the Lakeland Electric employees the opportunity to work/train together and develop working relationships.
